I was commissioned to design five exhibition panels (2m by 1m each) for the National Trust’s traditional grass chalk lands farm in Saddlescombe, Sussex. The National Trust wanted to promote this attraction with an exhibition to inform visitors (hikers, cyclists and families) about the farm’s history, displayed in the unique location of a semi exposed Victorian threshing barn. Designed to stay within the National Trust’s brand guidelines while appealing to a wide audience. Materials were specified which complement the location and surroundings and which are durable enough for the exhibition to be a semi permanent feature. Panels were matt laminated and mounted in custom-made timber frames.
